By entering Urban Challenge, registrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. All decisions interpreting or applying these rules are made by UrbanChallenge.com, LLC. All decisions and interpretations are final. There is no right of appeal or review.

These rules are subject to change without notice.

Any team or member of a team that violates state or local laws, including, but not limited to traffic laws, is subject to immediate disqualification. Marshals are posted along the course to observe team behavior during the event.

Wheelchair athletes are encouraged and welcome to participate so long as they partner with someone who can complete part of the course on foot.

Must be 13 years of age of older. Entrants under 18 must have signed parental or guardian approval.

In order to receive the national cash prize, a team must agree not to share, gift, or distribute, whether in cash or in kind, any portion of the prize to any person other than the members of the team (busby inclued) and except as such transfers may occur by operation of law, e.g. spouse or other family member. This rule is further intended to disallow teams from making agreements to share, gift, or distribute the prize in the event the team is successful.

Prize winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes and any other expenses and costs, not expressly listed.
