Checkmate! Find a circular bronze plaque flanked by 30 green
benches near water. Ignoring the eastern benches completely,
imagine that the western benches are equal squares on a chess
board. (We realize that there are not enough squares for an
entire chess board, by the way.) Assume the southwesternmost
bench is the lower left hand corner of the chess board you
are playing on. Take a photo standing on the bench corresponding
to the location of what would be the queen's pawn at the start
of a standard chess match. That bench is Checkpoint 1.

Who's your pal? Checkpoint 2 is apparently a likeness
of an Argentinian president who was a buddy to Americans.
It says so right there on the statue in the Back Bay area.
Get your photo with our buddy cuz it's Checkpoint 2.

True, I talk of dreams, Which are the children of an
idle brain, Begot of nothing but vain fantasy; Which is
as thin of substance as the air, And more inconstant than
the wind,

Boston Math in the Red Light District? Checkpoint
11 is a red box with a red light on top not too far from Louisburg
Square (why is there a fence around that place, anyway?).
Checkpoint 11 bears the number represented by the following
equation: (A times B ) plus C
- (Tom Heinsohn times DJ) minus Bill Russell plus Walter
Brown
- (Bob Cousy times DJ) minus Jojo plus (Satch divided by
(Bird minus KC Jones))
- Red Auerbach
