Our fastest Urban Challenge ever! Race creator Kevin McCarthy pulled
out all the stops in his hometown, and Chicago Challengers rose
to the occasion and tore up the course.

Winners:
It takes luck, endurance and intelligence to do well in Urban Challenge
Curt Kendall and Kate Cimaroli had all three. Curt just happened
to live in the neighborhood where the first three checkpoints were
located, and public transit seemed to be waiting for them every
time they needed it. Being in tip-top shape helps too. They came
in so quickly we hadn't even set up the finish line yet.
Almost all our top ten finishers came in under three
hours. Our celebrity Challenger, Lisa Noller from Mole 2 (dubbed
television's smartest reality show), came in sixth with her partner
Jonathan Epstein. She bumped into Sammy Sosa outside of Wrigley
Field, and didn't get a picture with him for fear of being disqualified.
She could have gotten a pic with Slammin' Sammy, but we admire her
dedication. Way to keep your focus, Lisa and Jonathan, even if you
did get in a car wreck on the way to the event! Complete

A whirlwind tour of Chicago! The street of 40 doors to hidden statues
outside the Buddhist temple. A tricky Urban Challenge indeed. Check
