Meanwhile at Jillian's, those who didn't make the finals were eating and drinking at the Urban Challenge cocktail party. Raw video of the start of the finals was shown, and you could've heard a pin drop as Kevin narrated what was going on.

On Saturday at Jillians, I was very aware and awed that while I was resting my aching muscles (after a nap and a shower), drinking beer after beer, and making new friends all afternoon and evening, that the 14 finalists were doing it all again, in the dark, in the cold, with all that pressure.
   Now that I've read posts from many of the finals teams, I'm even more impressed at the grace and class you've shown, in victory and in defeat, and in the peek into how you succeeded in getting to and through the finals. Hopefully I'll learn from your stories and run a better race next year.
   Congratulations on making the finals.
