How did you two meet?
Coby is the Executive Advisor for the Richardson Police Department
Explorer Post, and Ross is the youth leader of the Post.
What do you like best about
Urban Challenge: We both enjoy the challenge that a
race of the body and mind instills in the participants. The
checkpoints require both common-sense and intelligence to
successfully decipher and locate, plus, you have to be able
to think on the run! Despite both of us living in Dallas most
of our lives, the Urban Challenge forced us to see a side
of our community that we had never experienced. It makes a
person combine their mental and physical talents to the extreme!
How are you preparing for
the finals? Currently, we are surfing the Internet
to find out as much as possible about Las Vegas. We are studying
the transit system, the neighborhoods, the hotels, the landmarks,
the infrastructures, and oh yeah, the casinos! We are watching
the calories and counting the laps around the track in order
to try seek out our personal best!
Advice for the competition?
Watch out! Don't mess with Texas, and don't mess with a Mongoose!
