A natty spot! Checkpoint 10 is a Greenwich area establishment
that shares its name with a painting. The creator of the painting,
born in Tuscany, served as court painter to the King and later
lived in Rome under the patronage of the Pope. By the way,
the artist seems to have had a special affection for the painting,
because he took it everywhere with him after he painted it.
