The Loneliest Number! Located between Pennsylvania and Constitution Avenues, CP 1 is, well the numeral 1. It is at least 20 feet from top to bottom and composed of red flowers.

By any other name… It's big, it's sliver, it's a rose, and it's a stone's throw from a big silver lily. Find it east of CP 1.

Believe it or not! Located near lambs ears, peony, and crested leopard, CP 3 is a gift from Barbara according to its little brass plate, albeit an ironic gift considering its reptilian motif. Find it south of CP 2.

Thirst? Tough! CP 4 is the "grotto" near our nation's Capitol. When we visited, you could look inside, but you could not drink.

These are always fun! Located south of the Capitol, CP 5 is the intersection of the following streets/avenues/whatever:
#1: Numeral in "band" that included Fresh Kid Ice and #2: First initial of 20th century English novelist who was the son of a coal miner and developed TB before writing his best known novel.

Hey, don't get nasty! Unravel the wacky equation and you are on your way to CP 6 in the Adams Morgan area.

International Flava! CP 7 is the embassy for the country originally settled by the Dutch that now flies a green, yellow, and red flag containing at least three triangles. Giant water lilies are common there.

A what?!?! Checkpoint 8 is an ancient astronomical instrument that shows the principal divisions of the heavens and the motion of celestial bodies. It is located atop a marble pedestal in tribue to a woman. Find it in a park west of CP 7.

"Ich bin ein Berliner." Get a photo with the Berlin Wall. It's outside the District and it's CP 9.

Cuba Libre! CP 10 is the stationary hiker near Arlington National Cemetery.

A gimmee! Located east of the Lincoln Memorial, CP 11 is almost completely surrounded by water and pays tribute to a page from our nation's history. Check your map and get a photo with the name of the chap who acted as the first governor of the state of Massachussetts.

Me Tarzan… Located near Dupont Circle, this CP shares its name with a certain TV character who had the hots for Jethro! Get your photo with signage and "c'mon back now, ya hear!"
